If you are not feeling your best, I would be happy to work with you to feel better about your life. Whether you wish to deal with a present or past relationship, unpleasant feelings, anxiety, or any other problem that concerns you, psychotherapy can help you to feel renewed and to find new, effective ways to cope with difficulties.

For over thirty years, I have been helping people to improve their lives and recover from painful life situations. It is my goal to offer you help in turning your own situation around so that you can live a happier, more satisfying life.

Through a collaborative evaluation, we can determine which areas need work and how to capitalize on your strengths.  I offer to serve as your guide through the growth process and assist you in improving your circumstances.

People come to therapy for a variety of concerns.
Here are just a few examples:

  • Relationship problems
  • Work related problems
  • Depression
  • Mood disorder
  • Anxiety/worry
  • Distress due to past Trauma and/or abuse
  • Coping with death or significant loss
  • Dealing with one’s own or a family member’s mental illness
  • Emotional pain related to physical illness of self or a person close to you
  • Low self-esteem
  • Addictions including substance abuse, sex/love addiction, computer addiction

If you have questions about whether psychotherapy would help you, please feel free to contact me with your concerns.  If you choose to make an appointment, we will meet for an initial consultation.  Following this, we will discuss the direction therapy will take and the issues we will address if you would like to continue with ongoing psychotherapy.

I provide individual and couples therapy to persons age sixteen and older. I am privileged to work with a variety of people from many different age groups and backgrounds.  It is my hope that I can provide a safe and comforting place to all who share their lives while working with me.
